PRIDGEN James Washington Pridgen (66) passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014. He was a graduate of Northwestern High class of 1965. He furthered his education at Bethune Cookman College and graduated from Florida A&M. James served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He held 3 state licenses, in real estate, barbering, and teaching. James was preceded in death by his mother, Clotee Philyaw Pridgen, father, Henry Pridgen, Sr., brother, Henry, Jr., and sister, Rosa Lee Pridgen; Leaving to cherish his memory is his sons, Warren Fulton, James Atony Pridgen, James W. Pridgen, Jr., and Javon Pridgen; daughters, Patrice Boatwright Symms and Chantelle Pridgen; 13 grandchildren; sister, Clotee Allochuky Pridgen; caregiver, Scherell Kemp; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held 11:00am, Monday, September 15 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd. Professional services from the Heart entrusted to Sarah L.
