I spoke with Anna M Durham yesterday. She informed me that during her visit with her neuro-surgeon she was made aware that she had suffered a stroke around the first part of May.

She stated that she had experienced some things but associated them with the condition she has been battling to overcome. It is with her permission that I share this information with the classmates.  She believes in the power of prayer.

Let us continue to keep her in our sincere prayers for her to be restored back to a state of health that she can live a normal life as possible.

To all Yellow Jackets in the class of 65,

During the recent week while contacting classmates inquiring as to their intent to participate in our upcoming class reunion, it has been brought to my attention that many of our fellow classmates are under attack in many areas of our lives.  We all are experiencing events in life that are not always welcomed or pleasant. Our battles are not our to fight but we must cast them at the feet of Jesus. No matter how bleak the situation may appear. Prayer is the one thing that I know will work in every situation.  There is strenght in numbers. I am appealing to those of you who believe in the power of prayer to join me in interceding on the behalf of all of our classmates.  By doing so we will have prayed for all of us.

UPDATE

Anna Mike Durham is continuing to seek the medication prescribed by the doctor to improve her current condition. She states that all is well and she sounds positive and upbeat during our conversations.

We will continue to seek God's will in her life as it pertains to her health and physical well-being.

It addition, I spoke with Rosemary Butler Thornton on yesterday. She is in need of our prayers for her medical state the she is encountering at the current time.  We know and acknowledge God as being all wise and all powerful.

We must trust him and stand on his promises he made to his people.

I spoke with Ruth, Michael Thomas' wife last evening also. She was just leaving the hospital for the day. She states that he is holding his own. It is an uphill climb for him but we know that what God has ordained for our lives will come to past.

Continue to pray for him and all others that you are aware in the need of prayer. We do have some class members that rather keep their encounters private and I respect that, but there is strength in united prayer.

It is not necessary for us to know what the exact condition is, we only need to know that there is a special need.

Haven't spoken with Barbara Champion lately but I will try and reach her for an update on her condition.
